Gary Wise has had an involvement with finance and property for some 23yrs. In 1989 he entered the financial services industry which was a vast change in direction from his earlier career as a qualified pastry chef.

During this period, Gary also established himself as an international rugby referee and travelled the world working in this sport. Countries like Dubai, Hong Kong, Australia and South Africa were places he frequented regularly. During these travels Gary took a great interest in international property markets as well. He has a property in Toronto with his partner as well as others in Hawke's Bay, NZ.

Gary is married to Karen who moved to NZ in 2007 from Canada to be with Gary. He has 3 children from a previous marriage, Brooke, Blake and Sydney. He adopted Karen's daughter Kaylee in 2010 and in January 2010 introduced the arrival of their first child together, Kendra Dallas Wise.
